  • Skynetics controller board

I am wanting to understand the Skynetics controller boards. I have a few of their models and I have added DSM receivers to them so I can fly them using my NX7e+ transmitter.

Do I have the following information correct?
When trimming the model I really should do it using the linkage and not the trim adjustment on the transmitter if I can.
Also, When trimming the model it should be in manual mode.

Is there a way to get to the "Loiter" feature found on the stock transmitter? (when using a dsm receiver)

I want to use the Skynetics components in some other small models as well as any DIY builds I do. Pictured is the first of many DIY conversions to Skynetics electronics.
For this one I used a FW109 board. The model has been flown and very happy with the results. I created 3D printed mounts for everything so it is very easy to replace something if need be.

And "Yes" The FW109 Skynetics board mounts inverted in the fuselage.

Two weeks ago, I purchased one of these. I truly adore it. It meets all of the requirements for our young family, which consists of a 4-month-old and future children. I can still feel like I'm driving a fun car when I press the accelerator without him in it. Dad will never mature.
