I hope the flightline stuff has been a big success for motionrc - you've done very well imho with the scale features, 1200mm size and the aircraft you've chosen!

I have some feedback back from a relative newcomer to warbirds.

Durability - I'm still crashing warbirds regularly and from my perspective I am always interested to hear more about the cf reinforcement of a plane. The more the merrier - I realise there's a cost to it - but there's a sales angle I think you could do more with.

Model selection - so far it's been great and I guess I'd like to encourage you to keep it out of the square. I know you have to sell them, but there are some great planes that haven't been done well at 1200mm. I'm thinking KI-84, Beaufort fighter, gloucester meteor - I could keep going but I think you get the idea - interesting and easy to enjoy. These planes and the mainstays like fw190 and zero would all sell - I'd buy them!

product reviews and mod videos - keep them coming! They're great - love your work.

This guy sells carbon reinforcement kits for many planes. He even sells planes already done. He calls it "crashproofing". Of course, we all know there is no such thing but it does seem to give the plane a lot more sturdiness in a crash. It's still going to incur damage. As you'll see, "crashproofing" comes at an additional cost.
Laugh your crash off. Foamie reinforcement that REALLY works. Spend more time flying and less time fixing. Check us out now. Help your RC plane survive crashes and improve the flight characteristics. Make your radio controlled airplane last.

With the cost of many of these warbirds, I stuck to the cheap ones and non-warbird type of planes till I could get my flying skills better honed. The problem with the cheaper warbirds is that their quality and construction are at a lower level and they don't take to mishaps nearly as well as the pricier ones. If crashing is still a routine thing, finding planes that are easier to fix and easier to find inexpensive parts for may be the way to go. Oh, and you get very good at fixing.

      Hi guys
I have tried a dynam T-28 with that crash proofing done to it and was not all that excited about it for me. The first issue is weight that it adds to it flying with out it is light and glides very well. With the crash proof its way heavier and flies faster which of course makes it not float as good so landings our hotter. After flying 1 with and 1 without I personally am not a fan of that system. If I do have a crash I use multi temp hot glue and I'm back out their flying again. I understand people have their own feeling on this I am just basing what I see with 2 of the same plane and I was not that convinced at this point. As fpr new planes in the flightlinerc many many new ones will be coming out you will be impressed for sure. Happy flying guys and again I'm not trying to cause any issues just putting what I saw out on the table. thanks!

I've seen the killer planes videos and I respect the guy for putting out a lot of 'how to' videos - although I see recently his work is 'patent pending'. As good as it is - the killer planes stuff is post production, involves lots of cutting and glue and is work done in response to the often poor strength of many planes.

I am not saying flightline planes are weak - I guess I'm saying with a few extra rods and careful placement it may be possible to market the planes as the strongest foam frames in the marketplace. Imho stron fames make for good flight character and provide a little forgiveness when you do land unexpectantly.

i hear you about the choice of planes - I'm doing OK with the warbirds - keeping it real with scale flying at this point though.
