    servo question

Hi my name is Charles and I am new to the rc community. For my first build I am making a hybrid catamaran/air boat, powered by an e.d.f.

My question is about the lenght of the horn l on the servo and the rudder.

Here is my understanding: longer horn on servo=more travel but less force.
longer horn on the rudder = less travel and more force.

so using a short horn on the servo and a long horn on the rudder would give me the least amount of travel but the greatest force.

    Are my assumptions correct ?

    Thanks

Yes but you usually have the ability to increase servo travel in your radio to make up for the shorter throw of moving the push rod in on the servo arm.
