    TS,
Glad to hear that your liking my recommendation, thought that this would be the ticket for ya.
Am sure that you'll figure out an improved and beefier tail wheel setup to accommodate your full on redneck flying style.
    Best regards,

Dont have a good update today..about my eighth flight ,I was doin some figure eights..nothing extreme, just easy flying, when going into the bottom of the loop I got no response when pulling up...a friend standing next to me said it looks like my elevators flappin, but by then it was too late..it tried to merge with a chain link fence...upon inspection, the rudder & elevator hinges came completely loose.. hardly any glue on these things it looks like! cant believe they used these type of hinges on a foam plane.

          Hey TSH,
Thanks for posting your mishap & noting the several issues you have had with this model. I was very strongly inclined to buy this one with the lights for our clubs' night flys, although now, I think I'm gonna pass. I don't feel like investing $229 & end up with only a flight or two & have the tail wheel come off or all the control surfaces come loose due to poor manufacturing & apparent negligent QC. These are the kinds of responses that need to be sent to the mfg. by the importers/distributers who have to deal with unhappy customers. A shame cause I really like that model.

Dont get me wrong, great flying plane..had I known they used CA hinges on it, I would have replaced those immediately ...why oh why would they use CA on foam is beyond me..they should've known better ..I did opne a ticket with motion..but not sure they will do anything..since according to their policy, they wont replace anything that has been flown...though in this case I hope they will..its an obvious flaw in construction.

I have used those hinges on foam before with no problems but I used epoxy after roughing with sandpaper and pegging the hing through the wing.

yeah if epoxy is used, then they work fine..but they used CA,which just crystalized is what it feels/looks like

Got a response from Motion about this..they said the mfg said they could not tell if this was the planes fault or not, but said it was my fault by not inspecting the plane (which is BS, I did inspect it) ,so while they did not replace the plane, they did issue a credit ,which was nearly enough to replace the parts I needed..shy of about $20 ,which I dont mind too much at all, Im thankful I was able to get that..I just wont have any decals lol ..which is fine..I'll come up with a more colorful scheme...I will say this again and again...cant beat Motions customer service..I havent seen this kind of care for customers from ANY company RC or not.
