Eflite Ultimate 2 CG Problems???

Hi All!
I'm balancing my Ultimate 2 and I'm having to add a TON of nose weight. I'm using a glacier lipo 3s 2200 (30c)...this just doesn't seem right...anyone have to do this?

Hello Jeremiah,

I did not have to add any nose weight to my Ultimate 2 bipe. I fly mine using Admiral 2600 3S 30C batteries with the end of the battery touching the back of the firewall inside the battery compartment and the plane flies perfectly for me. I only had to add 2 ticks of aileron trim on my maiden flight to get the plane flying level. The Admiral battery weighs 190 grams or around 6.7 oz.

Are you checking the CG with the plane upright and measuring on the upper wing (since it's a biplane)?

I run mine stock, no changes required at all for the CG. I am using the stock HK 2200 3s.
