MotionRC Gift Cards

For quite some time now, I've been unable to purchase a gift card at MotionRC. On Black Friday I asked in chat about purchasing a gift card and commented that I thought it odd that the busiest shopping day of the year and I can't purchase a gift card. The person on the other end simply said, "IKR?" but nothing more beyond that.

My interest is selfish as I have two gift cards, one a Master Card and the other a VISA gift card that I want to combine for one purchase.
The only way to do that is to purchase a MotionRC gift card to myself using the two CC gift cards I have, then make my purchase. The sticking point being I can't purchase a gift card over the phone or online.

I'm asking here only because of the relationship between MotionRC and the Hobby Squawk Forums. I thought that maybe someone here had any insight on this? :-)

What does "IKR" mean?
I see MotionRC gift cards as an item but no way of purchasing them.

It means, "I know, right?"
In my chat window that's what they typed, "IKR?"
Must have been someone young. 😁

Maybe they're having issues with currency conversion code?
Who knows... I just find it odd it hasn't worked in some time.
I'm getting parts together to build a 600 size OH-6 Cayuse. 600 seems to be an odd size for that particular model. One of the main items is the 500D fuselage with the correct tail configuration. I can paint it but most bodies are the 500E version. Sorry I digress...

They should have fixed this long ago. They're losing a lot of revenue from people not being able to buy gift cards. At this time of year, gift cards are a company's big source of income. (Think about Apple. They rake in 100's of millions just from gift cards at this time of year. And some of these are forgotten and never used.)

I just wanted to let anyone interested in a gift card for someone (or yourself) they have fixed the issue and you can now purchase gift cards online.
