I'm screaming toward 60 years old, but a relative newcomer to the RC flying hobby. In 2011 my wife gave me a Hobbyzone Super Cub for Fathers Day. Now, she comes down to the basement, looks at the 12 planes hanging from the ceiling, rolls her eyes and mutters "What was I thinking?" I think I'll show her your photos and suggest maybe I'm not so bad, and hope she doesn't realize those big boxes under the stairs contain new unbuilt planes;)

It's amazing Bry that you and I have so many of the same planes. :)

I'll be the first to admit...I'm a very sick man. I love airplanes and always will. Full scale or model, doesn't matter. My wife's only problem is..."What do I do with 50 model planes if you die before I do?" Doc

I'm at 16 planes acquired over the last 6 years. As long as I don't buy to many to frequently my wife doesn't care so I have it pretty good. She doesn't like to fly but likes to watch me fly especially the corsairs and the popwing.

I screamed right up to 60, then I drank from the Kool aid and....Let's see, three years later, I have..11 not counting the two I wrote off this year. Of course, Bryan and I have an excuse, we were schooled in the art of excess by none other than the professor himself, Bill, "Rocketeer" who, I believe doesn't really know how many he really has himself! Hasn't been here for a while, but I got an e mail from him a while ago and he's doing fine. Gone, but certainly not forgotten. Bill, it's all your fault, right Bry??

We were just thinking the same thing. Diane is hooked on building airplane stands and really likes how you've stacked yours. HMMMM, no point in building a big stand or two if you're not going to fill them, right??!!

                            MMMMUUUUUUAAAAAHHHHHHHAAAAAA!!!!!!

Thanks for the answer to a vexing problem!!!

You inspire me to clean up the mess I've made of my shop. You obviously don't need to worry about snow load, but doesn't it get awfully hot wthout insulation? Doc
