  • Tuesdays are "High Wing Tuesdays" at our club....

On our "High Wing Tuesdays", I take out my (3) favorites, the Taft Hobby Dornier Do-27 STOL/1600mm/4S/5ch; the VH Aviator balsa/1650mm/4S/4ch; & my Art Tech Pilatus Porter PC-6 STOL/1700mm/4S/7ch. This year I have gotten into the larger scale planes & sold off most of my small(<1m w/s) planes. Actually, these are much easier to fly. Here's some pics....

Nice photos, I particularly like the Dornier. Very nice looking plane, with good colors that should show up well while flying. Great idea to generate some interest in the relaxing to fly High wing planes.

Has anyone checked out this 'soon to be released' little, well, not so little, gem??

Could be a real sweet airplane.

The real downside for me is the painted on windows. With the CZ Cub it kind of works, but just doesn't look right on the 150. It is a good starting point for someone wanting to get into giant scale though.

We have "Cub Day" at our field about twice a month. They are a lot of fun.

I finally got to maiden my Flex Innovations Cessna 170, what a sweet flying plane. Between the Carbon Z Cub (have a couple at our field), the C-150 and C-170 the C-170 wins in my book. While the C-150 is less money something about the curves of the older Cessna's draws me to them.
