A good way to match the paint is take your model, or part of it, to Lowes or Home Depot, they can do a color match and give you a sample size for a few bucks.

Our Home Depot has flat and eggshell sheen samples. Kinda depends on the plane. I have used the flat and then coated with clear acrylic semi-gloss to match original paint. The eggshell gives a little less sheen than semi-gloss. Satin would be nice if they had it. Color matching has been pretty good but not exact in a few cases. Of course the paint looks differently inside versus outside in the sun.

You can also try Tamiya paint. The acrylic paint comes in gloss as well as flat. You might have to add a shade and mix to get the right colour. I was able to match the colours used on the FMS lines. Local hobby shops usually carrie Tamiya.
