If it's the sound that's supposed to be the hint, I can hear 2 types of sounds. One is like that of a large electric plane, similar to the CZ Cub. The other one is a Weed Whacker. All the hype doesn't work for Horizon.

I am hoping for a scale VTOL. Any of these would seem like possible candidates to me:
V-22 Osprey
V-280 Valor
XC-142
X-19
XFY-1 Pogo
Bell X-22
CL-84
However, due to the quick rpm changes, it sounds like they are multiple small fixed pitch props. So, my guess would be that V-22 and V-280 are unlikely, as much as I really want to see them made. Probably not the Pogo either due the the Coaxial props.

This reminds me of the "Hypertaxi" promo that Horizon did years back and we all know how that worked out. All the video hype leading to a big disappointment.
I'm in the it's another drone camp as well.

It's only a few days before we all find out for sure. However, I'm thinking back to the time when they decided to discontinue the QX3 quad and blew them out the door. Then came the replacement Chroma. Nothing really changed except a $200.00 increase in price. I'm giving a BIG YAWN on this one. Maybe they'll surprise me ......................
Besides, with FMS's recent announcement of their 2m Beaver and Flex Innovations latest 2m Cessna 170, I don't think there will be a high excitement level from Horizon.

I've only been back in the hobby for a year now so I don't know what all the hate is about with a product announcement from HH.

Tom said he will be getting the Cessna once they come in but the ETA is Mid December. The new A-10 will be about a month earlier than that and we will carry it also since I want one maybe two. I will look into that new VTOL and find out if that will be showing up on our doorstep.

Interesting but not sure it's worth the drama and hype. I find their upcoming UMX A10 to be more desirable. Here's a really, really expensive version that I was quite intrigued by when it first was introduced but that died when I saw the price tag.

If it flies well and more importantly, if it transitions well and the price is in the "commoner" range, it might get my attention. I presume that was the weed whacker sound we heard on the video.

BTW, there are several of these sorts of aircraft out there and almost all of them transition very poorly.
