The Freewing FW 190 is much better. Checkout MotionRC's customer reviews on the Freewing FW 190 . Very good reviews. Freewing makes good planes. I had the Flyzone FW 190. It has very weak landing gear they broke even with the most gentle landing on grass.

        Re: FW- 190

I have the Flyzone FW190, but have not built it yet. I tend to really like most of the Flyzone planes, but in this case, I think I would have to agree with Baron. I really like the colors on the Freewing 190, and it does seem to have good reviews. Plus the plastic hinges vs. foam hinges are a plus in my opinion. I do have the PZ FW-190 and have flown it. Very nice plane, but does not come with retracts standard.

I really like PZ, and they have brought their game up with the new FW190 in terms of paint and scale touches, and they do have excellent service to back up their products, but companies like FMS and Freewing, with standard features like flaps, lights, and retracts for less money, are going to start taking away buyers from PK unless they also pick up the pace. Just my .02.

Good luck with whichever one you choose!

hi Wayne I think I've decided on the toprc FW190. I fly on a grass field and was wondering if it handles the grass field or not. I'd realy appreciate your input Thanks

              Re: FW- 190

hello chevstar where to start we own a grass strip in Oregon a couple of the pilots started flying rc's here and my 8 year old grand son wanted to get into it. that being said no one has war bird experience with them. six flights sex nose overs no damage the vertical stab is 5/8 inches at the very top the landing gear is not scale but very stout leverage on the landing gear is what kills all the other war birds . the tires are 2 inches real rubber , now killer planes has two versions a 3 cell and a 4 sell I have the 3 cell using the pro admiral bat 2200 has helped a lot and there is enough room for a longer bat .the grass here is wet and has not been cut since the fall . there is a lot of info on the hobby king forum on this plane and they sell it too but its hobby king. I bought mine at SN hobbies in Canada for 189 plus 50 shipping RTF , RC castle has them too. You will be impressed with the build quality 20 to 30 minutes to be ready to fly, this is the best built foamy out there that I have seen my fellow pilots all want one .PS to motion rc I love you guys , you are the best company out there

                Re: FW- 190

chevstar I forgot to tell you, start off easy it needs about half power and 40 to 50 ft of runway to get into the air more power will tork left . the rudder needs to be adjusted for more throw, landings need a long glide path once in the air priceless
