1600 would be my bid ..at the least. Id be all jolly for a Bronco OR a Mohawk...kinda more keen to the Mohawk myself.

I'll call you on a 1600 Mohawk(1/9) but have a pat hand on 1500 Bronco (I just really like 1/8 scale). Either one of those from FL and I'd wet myself. Can't explain my fascination for those two but I know it goes back to my childhood plastic model days.

when Dobbins had the Mohawks, we frequently got to watch them doing maneuvers over the house. Loops and rolls quite often. I also got to check out both of them when I was in the CAP down at Travis, they were both Coast Guard versions, but way cool. dont have my photos from back then...that was in the old 35mm days lol
and as you mentioned, I had to have those in model kit form...though never found the Mohawk back then, but did have the 1/72 Bronco

Another Plane I would buy in a heart beat would, and should be made by Flightline using their twin engine formula ie, Tigercat, and p-38, would be a Me-410 Hornet. This would be a good companion to the Ta-152 h, Fw-190 a, Size should be 1/10 to keep with there other twins.

I had to go look up ME 410 I didn't have a clue what it was. I agree that would be a good new entry into the Flightline twin market. In time they might be able to get around to making some opposition aircraft for those they currently have in production. MRC has been really good in letting us know all that goes into creating these new airplanes but still I can't imagine undertaking such a task.

Me-410! I'll admit it's on my personal Maybe list, but I'm certain it won't be as popular as other twins on the Probable list. If we develop one or two twins a year, we need to be very careful with which we choose. German planes sell inconsistently, so it's a tough call. We'll see though. It's too early to rule anything out, and as always, we're always keep an ear open to customer input.

I would be a +1 on the ME-410. Of coarse I'm partial to axis birds. Another twin that might be an easy to do bird is the F-82 War Thunder. It could use many components already in use for the P-51s with a new joining wing center section. If done right the horizontal stab and elev from the p-38 might work. With two fuselages it would have lots of lipo room too. And it's never been done esp in foam.

Hi Twowingtj, welcome to Hobbysquawk! Is that your BV 141?? It looks great. I'd love to see more info on it in a build thread or in the picture gallery sub-forum!

We've looked at the F-82 before, actually. I'm not sure if it would be popular, though? But I could be wrong. We could depict one more accurately than the old one I had from Hobby People, that's for certain.

Would that be the VQ one?? HP recently reduced the price by a C note to $250. A couple months ago a CS rep from HP indicated to me they are not going to carrying the VQ line any more for those folks that might be interested.

                        Thanks for the welcome guys.

Alpha, it is my Blohm und Voss. It's electric with a power 160 on 9S. It's very fast and very light wing loading, lots of area. Very easy to fly and suprizingly, no bad habits. Lands like a trainer. It's all scaled out with a scratch built full cockpit interior with full bodied pilot. It gets a lot of attention wherever I take it. A lot of people like it, but think it's hard to fly due to the assemetry. It's actually designed to offset torque and P-factor.

I'll look into posting in the picture gallery sub-forum. Still exploring Hobbysquak. Seems like a better atmosphere than the most popular alternative.

I'll see what other "subject" suggestions I can come up with that might appeal to the broader market and be fun to fly.

Regarding the F-82, I'm not sure exactly who made it. I've owned several VQs over the years, but the one I had didn't have the usual layout and panel line printed covering that many VQs do. It was about 1800mm, if I recall correctly.

To add more photos to this thread, here's the Me 410 Hornisse/Hornet we were talking about earlier. Beaufighter + Mosquito + Me110 + a huge cannon.

Bravo, Twowingtj, 9s with that wingspan must surely move out nicely.

Lol you're quick on the draw, Charlie! I post and then edit to add photos.

Either that, or my airplane identification skills aren't what I thought they were. This is the "OV-10" you've been asking about forever, right? :D

More accurately, that's a bad depiction of a Shrike Commander. Haha. Maybe I'll do one of those instead of OV10's OV-10. :D

Something else that might be fun is to do a series of Reno air racers from the Biplane and Formula 1 classes in the 50"-55" size. Offer them in a sport model with an optional EF-1 type upgrade. Say a 1200-1300kv motor and 8X8 prop. The Phantom Bipe or even the Pond racer would be a hoot. Several guys at our field have picked up the High Performance 64mm Stingers and have begun racing them. Could offer scale paint schemes and maybe even a white version and get with Callie and see if she could offer some custom graphics packages. My HH Rare Bear gets the blood pumping, esp on 5S :shy:
