  • Introduction

    Hello Pilots

I am a newb and have been catching up on RC ATC vids on you tube.

STATUS: I have purchased the Hobbyzone Champ RTF. Beautiful weekend here in east Tennessee but flags have been flying straight out and my bird stayed grounded. Zero flights for the plane or myself as of this post.

QUESTION: What are recommended techniques for logging fly sessions? Is the common practice to count each landing as a flight or each "outing"?

I appreciate your forum and information. I will be busy reading through the archives.

    Thank you,

    Birdman

Connected with the local RC Club and discovered they have a 500' paved runway. Nice. No emphasis on logging flights, more so on events that shape the learning curve. Flew the Champ and a club owned Super Cub.
    Since then purchased an Apprentice.

Good choice on the Apprentice. I chose one for my re-entry into the hobby after a long (15+ year) layoff.

        Thanks Tarasdad
The size was a little intimidating but after flying it on the simulator I recognize the added control and stability offered by the increased size and mass.
