Hello Friends & Pilots, I recently put together a Tec-One Saturn EPO, which is a nice aircraft for the cost. (TEC08500P-RED) For $119.00 you can essentially have a nice 48 inch wing span Snow, Water or land flying airplane.
I notice the quality is pretty good, it has good mounting features that other Manufactures might lack. Build time is approximately 30 minutes with transmitter setup and installing the outer parts. (Very simple to build)
Dubro makes a snow ski part, that should bolt right On this model. Here is the link, https://www.motionrc.com/products/du...k-flyer-2-pack
The ESC, motor are nice quality parts as well. Back in 1999 to 2004 you could buy those RTF airplanes for $150.00; those were not even close, to the quality of these models. You can have a RTF Saturn for a few bits" more. The wing is plenty large enough to carry a camera if your into aerial photography.
Pros: Easy build, cost, Very easy build-good instructions.
Cons: Wing mounting requires more screws. (easy fix)
Nose wheel horn could use an update. (easy fix)
