B-2 Flyover at the 2017 Rose Parade

Who's excited to see that incredible flyover of the B-2 at the Rose Parade?!!! I am!!

I woke up early because I was so excited, LOL. It flies right over my house every year since the Rose Parade is so close, and it's just the most spectacular site to see. Many times it's holding above the mountains ready for the perfect timing to make the flyover. It's such a special plane to see fly, and the profile and sound it makes it also phenomenal. It's a cloudy day today, so I'm not sure if I'll catch any photos (or good ones at least), but we'll see. I'll head outside in 30-40 minutes or so and wait for it.

I definitely will if it flies the same pattern of arrival this year. It's always fun to hear that whistle from far away. Ha-ha

I'm listening to the LiveATC App and they just called in to SoCal approach. Their call sign is awesome. They are less than five miles out for flyover. Giddy up!

Thanks guys! I did get video, and it's only from my cell phone. So, it's not the best nor does it make it look as close as it actually was, but it's better than nothing. I'll upload it to YouTube and share the link here.

Also, today I was at the flying field, and guess what took off from the local airport, the B2! Woohoo! So, we all got a chance to see it fly again as it was on the way to the Rose Bowl football game (assuming it went over there for a flyover, but not sure). I did get video of that because I had my radio on and airplane activate, so couldn't get to my phone easily.

This morning, I found it cool that their call-sign was Limo267 when I was listening to SoCal Approach. So cool!

Definetly came over the field before kickoff, then fireworks, it was awesome. That game was amazing.

That's too cool! That must have been incredible for those pilots. The pilots voice on the radio was one that just portrayed confidence, professionalism, and knew he was part of something special.
