  • 1200mm size

Do you have any plans to carry 1200mm foamies? I love the size and function of the Dynam planes. I know that their are at least 3 vendors that carry them but they dont seem to stay in stock very long...OR they charge too much for shipping.

    Hi Shane,
We currently carry quite a few 1200mm (some are close to 1250mm) airplanes, here are the links to the receiver ready versions:

BTW - all of our orders over $99 ship for free, so you wont need to worry about high shipping costs with Motion RC.

We also have a great selection of smaller scale and larger scale planes in stock, with new arrivals each month.

Hope this info helps, let us know if you have additional questions,
    Mark

Thanks for the links. I should have been more clear and specifically ask if you planned on carrying Dynam planes at all? I have to say for the price they are pretty nice planes. Thanks again!

        Re: 1200mm size

We agree and think Dynam are pretty good planes. Candidly we would be interested in distributing their product, however, the last time we contacted them they stated that we are exclusively sold through Nitro Planes. Maybe they will change their mind this year, but for know we are unable to sell them. Sorry.

Mark, I know other suppliers, besides Nitroplanes, do sell Dynam products. Killerplanes also sells Dynam. I hope Dynam reconsiders and give you guys a chance as a distributor. That would be a win win situation for both of you.

            Re: 1200mm size

I totally hear you on this one,
I now have a few different sized foamies ranging in size from 800mm to 1450mm.
Although the 1450 is beautiful and I love the way she looks on the ground and in the air, getting her in the car with other planes is a bit daunting and there seems to be a bit of a trade off in size and aerobatics. The 1100mm have been great fun, but I feel like 1190-1290 may be the sweet spot for the best of both.
I'd love to see a nice Mitsubishi Zero in this size range.
There are a few Corsair of this size and it would be great fun to see some follow the leader between the two of these warbirds.

                Re: 1200mm size

I've re-thought this and have been thinking that what I would really really like to see, is a series of Warbirds in the 1150-1250 size range, and weighing in under 1200 kg / 2.6 lbs.
Where I am going with this, is I would like to have a plane that flies well with an inexpensive 3s 2200mah battery pack while also having a fun size to fly that is large enough to see a little ways away.
I haven't seen any Misubishi Zero's in this size range yet, so I think this would be a great plane to start with. the closer to the lower end of 2 lbs. the better.
                I have an 1100mm T-28 that weighs in just under 2.0 lbs, with a $17 45Amp esc, a $17 3536-1250kv motor and a $14 3s 2200mah battery, this plane flies like a bat-out-of-hell.
I would love to see some more like this in different airframes, as it just seems to be a really affordable fun flying plane that would be sure to impress just about any pilot.
It seems that everyone at my airfield feel the same way about which is their favorite size range, and I can't imagine any of them complaining about a plane flying on such an inexpensive power combination.
Come on Motion RC, I wanna see this happen!!! ;)
