  • Full moon flying

I finally got outside and did some full moon flying without the aide of light sticks. A snow moon eclipse with a comet. I've never seen a moon this bright. Bravo Zulu.

That is very cool flying a comet with the aid of a full moon is great fun indeed. I flew my stinger 90 at night but of course I had no moon had to rely on lights but still fun.

No lights on my S-Cub but still visible at close range. Gonna fly again tonite if the conditions permit.

I've never tried night flying I've seen it done many times. The first time was in the late 70s.

Never had a non-lighted flight past dusk myself. Sounds awesome though. This is the darkest I've ever flown and it was only because the FW P-38L comes with a nice LED package. :p38

Hello Pilots, That sounds like a good time, evening flight. For myself, it would depend on the level of visual sight I have. I'm just not one to take a chance, on losing or damaging a RC Airplane; due to being a evening flight. The lights; in my current book are" not really conducive for the flying I do. Most of the time, I never even notice them. Maybe now, sense I've seen them being used more. I might try a dusk flight, to see if it's cool. I've always wanted to fly a jet in the evening. Thanks for the insight! Matt Maryan
