  • HSD ......

Is there any chance Motion will be carrying this line in the future?.........

I just looked at their website, turbine powered foam jet. COOL!

Already have the HSD F16 105mm EDF and it is a nice plane. The turbines are carried by Pacific rc jets and is a great intro to larger turbines. The EDF,s are sold through BH and a couple others but the HSD product line consist of 3 planes (F16, Mirage and Viper) but I know their product line is bigger and contains some 90mm and 75mm jets. Also HSD would be better served by Motion RC to improve their presence and provide proven quality support. The big question is price. The Edf units are 105mm and planes will run at or above $800.00 plus receiver and batteries. By far Motion RC has a great product line for affordable planes and keeps spares available. Only thing lacking is a 90mm Panther. Hint, hint Motion RC.

I have their 105mm F-16 12S EDF version. I love it. Slap two 6S Admiral 5000's in her and go. Great quality jet for the price. Had to find a bigger place to fly her and now that I have I am stoked. As for carrying HSD I can't speak for the company per se, but I think it is a volume issue. They are a small manufacturer working overtime just to meet the crazy demand of this jet which has continued to be on backorder in the US for several months.

Have the same bird in the Artic Camo and it is eye candy. Hard to belive it's foam because it is do dense, like my Carbon Z T28. Which leads to wonder why are Freewing and Flightline planes not using this foam process.

Yeah the density is impressive. I heard something about it being a denser foam due to the turbine versions and that it was allegedly fire resistant.

Yea, i think it is fuel resistant also. As for that fire proof, I hoping to not test that function.

The best place to get the HSD foamy turbines is at Pacific RC Jets. They come with a Kingtech G2 turbine with autostart instead of the Ace turbine. or as a turbine ready version. They even have a Mirage coming soon.

very cool turbines in foam jets and the coast really is not bad if compared to their composite brothers.

Yeah she's no dainty gal. One of the main reasons I was so nervous the first few flights.

I purchased their 105mm F-16 12S EDF version and the front gear wouldn't work. I contacted them and asked for a replacement, sent them a video and they never sent one. Basically a garage ornament for now

This was my experience with Taft as well... Screw Taft! The owner, Taft Chen is a lying POS!

I'll never buy another Taft product again after the last fiasco.
