  • Matching up ESCs, motors, and batteries

I see a lot written about different components with different limits. How do you know how much battery a curtained sized (amp limit) ESC can handle? Same with a motor. I've bought a couple of used planes that seem to come with bigger than intended batteries or motors, and I want to make sure the ESC can handle them before I try to fly them.

I truly am new to electrics. I have a new GAVIN-6C RX-TX. Instruction manual lists operation as Step 1 - Insert bind plug Step 2 - Turn on the receiver. How in hades do I turn on the RX? I cannot even fin a place to plug in the battery.
