  • servo flap help

Ok I got two fms servos to add flaps to my Pandora . Both 9g, one reversed. The normal servo moves add a slow speed where as the reversed one moves at a guess you could call a normal speed . Question is does it matter or is there a simple trick to make match ? When I ordered I did so by phone and was given the part numbers to order .

    Re: servo flap help

The one that moves slowly was meant to be a flap servo, the other was not. Once they reach the desired position, it won't matter, but you will get some roll command, as though you applied some aileron, while they are different. I would replace the slow servo with a normal one, so they move at the same time, so I wouldn't have to deal with the roll. Or, you could install the Eagle Tree Guardian and put it in 2D (auto level) mode before changing the flap position, as it will hold the wings level automatically. I have one in my Pandora, and it's really great on windier days, which is nearly all days at my club's field.
