OK Im not going to say this is the right set up or that its not pulling too many amps but for the last few months Iv been flying my 1400 FMS p51 on a 5s 4000 and it was a great looking plan out there. A wold of difference over the 4S, Super fast and It was never an issue on the motor or ESC. (im not saying your not voiding the warranty Im just saying me and my buddy have both been running 5S 4000 and they run great with no issues) Well we just started flying them on 6S 3000. and OMG wow these fly great!! The weight seems Perfect!!! It just seems Like it flies so much better with the extra weight. Now I only gave it full throttle once and it does over amp. So tonight Im swapping out the ESC from my 1700MM P47 plane and thats going in the 1400 MM P51. Do yourself a favor And make you 1400 MM FMS plane tear up the sky.

So, you're running the 6S on the stock motor, but with the 85amp ESC. Correct?
