This is probably one of the best documentaries on the Battle. I had never seen this one before and it is very well explained, with great film footage.

I think I'm going have to scratch build the Dornier DO 17 Pencil. I remember when I was young I had a 1/72 scale model of the DO 17. I liked how it appeared to be an advanced streamlined design, with the blending of the wings into the fuselage. You don't see this aircraft modeled often.

That would be a fascinating project, Boots. It was a pretty unconventional looking aircraft at the time. Even now, for that matter. I'll have to watch the documentary as well. Thanks for sharing that.

Yea that plane is unique for sure I do like it. We had an rc auction and a guy had build a 40" wing span of this one electric. but it really looked like it went threw WW2.

I watched the video last night. Very informative. I didn't realize how many blunders the luftwaffe had. Especially ignoring the RADAR installations.
