  • Plane , Tree , Rain !!!!!!

Yes it happened that way . Got my Pandora stuck so high in a tree had to leave it over night . Well it rained last night ! Got it down today in really good shape , nothing but a prop replacement . Not sure how the rain treated the electronics though. I know my battery is shot and that's ok , but worried about the rest . Anyone have any experience with this ????

    Re: Plane , Tree , Rain !!!!!!

    Greetings,

I know I have a T-Shirt somewhere that states; "Been there, Done, that!!"

If you were able to retrieve your plave mostly un-scathed you are way ahead of the game.
From an electronics standpoint just be sure that before you fire up anything to investigate what works and what doesn't you're positive that every thing is completely dry.

Most all of the electronics are relatively sealed save the motor and since the ESC converts the DC battery voltage to AC for the motor that the point of ultimate dryness. Compressed air then a low heat hair dryer.

    Good luck
