Next Warbird

So I have an addition. This addition is the FMS 1400mm ++ Warbirds.

I purchased the FW-190 back in March or so and it is nearly flawless. I really have a soft spot for 190s and it is what I wanted. For my anniversary gift my GF gave me the money to purchase another warbird. One condition though was that she got to pick it out and she dislikes German planes. So I have the F6F on the way. I have a plan on the retracts for when they fail.

Next up is either the BF-109 (been waiting for that Green Camo verison), or the 1700mm P-47. I really really wish the 1400mm P-47 had detachable wings so that leads me to the 1700mm version.

So what's the better one and why?

Hello colemn615-I don't think I can help you with the Bf109 vs. P47 decision, but I am really curious as to your new F6F Hellcat. I have a smaller Tower Hobbies F6F, and love the way it flies. If the larger FMS 1400mm F6F flies as good as it looks, and if the retracts hold up well for you, I might have to go for one of those after I satisfy my twin engine warbird cravings!

I haven't gotten it in the mail yet. My GF gave me the money to order it for our anniversary. I should be getting it Wednesday. I already have a plan for retracts and have them ordered. They should be coming in from Hong Kong next week.

I plan on using the stock retracts until they go caput.
