Hi guys<smiley image="smiley_beam.gif"/> ..I see that there isn't much offered of these anymore.. I had the Graupner 3-D Hydro a few years back,, and it was really cool and flew well.. The only down fall of it, was the depron made it delicate.. There was other kits that were more stout, with better frame work.. The vids I saw of these were very impressive.. If you stumbled across a cool design at some point, I think it would be worth checking out,, ''they are a kick''... Ian

Re: Flying Hydroplanes
Hi Tom<smiley image="smiley_grin.gif"/> The Graupner has 4 ''big''split ailerons / elev., set up for ''Elevon - Delta mix'',, that are tied together on the wing and aft fuse.. The duel rudders are on the vert. tails also.. Most good kits were like this... There is a ''Hobby Lobby''- Graupner 3-D Hydroplane U-tube vid on it,, also there is a few vids of other brands.. You will see that they don't need underwater rudders at all.. The air rudders on them,,''especially the Graupner'', are pretty big.... Ian
