Here's my Faux Wolfe 190 0r FW 128

Hi all!
I hadn't flown RC in 35yrs and I wanted a low wing easy flying warbird to help eliminating the cobwebs in my thumbs.
I chose the Dynam T28, in grey as the basis. I removed the front pilot and ordered a Dynam FW190 canopy. The theme is a FW near the end of the war, it's battered and beat. Leaking oil badly but the pilot is tough receiving some shrapnel to his left eye brow. Here are the results:(oh and the plane flies great, I'm back in the air)!







I hope you all enjoy, there will be many more warbirds and now that Motion is a Dynam source that's where they will be coming from!

What can I say.... that job is nothing short of outstanding!!

I own 4 T-28's from 800 to 1400mm and at first glance it didn't even dawn on me that your plane at its core is a T-28. You really knocked it out of the park!!!

Thanks Rocket, it was a lot of fun doing it. It's my first use of an airbrush, which was given to me many years ago. It's all done in latex house paint = cheap. I got the info on how to do weathering from watching youtube videos.
Can't wait for the next plane!

Well, you certainly have my attention.... can't wait to see your next concept.

I too received an airbrush set up as a gift a few years back and it's never been out of the box since then. Maybe I should start looking into how to use it.

I have been "YouTubing" how to use an air brush videos and have bought a good air brush set and related equipment and will practice on a lot of older plane part foam sections. I am eager but will be cautious in trying it out on my unboxed Dynam Albatross very soon.

Thanks Ian, it was fun doing the project and I'm reaping the rewards with a great flyer/looker. At the field when 1st timers walk by some are totally confused. I hear: "FW190s didn't have tricycle gear, what gives"?

Notice the stickers on either side of the nose? One of my other hobbies is old VW Buses, on one side it's from 'Wolfsburg West", a vw parts house and the other is a VW Bus club in Mexico, lol.
What is a blatant omission on my part is that I forgot to add a *number* to the fuselage... DOH!
Thanks again, it's all about having fun and looking forward to seeing other people's projects along with mine. :-)
*Baron, I only used latex house paint bought from Home Depot & Lowes, $3.50 for each sample color is enough to completely paint many planes. Easy clean up with water. I practiced a little on paper first and any 'oops's are hard to see.
The Dynam Albatross is on my radar as a project(wish it was 3c-I have 6 3c/2200), I already have a color scheme in mind!
