  • Freewing Mig 15 ESC arming problems

Just got the Freewing Mig-15 but I can't get the ESC to arm. I have a Spektrum and have a Spektrum AR 6210 installed. I've tried it with throttle stick at zero and nothing at all happens. throttle at full and get a repeat of two beeps for a few seconds then if left in full a series of (musical for lack a better term) beeps. If I lower the throttle to zero nothing. Can anyone tell me the right way to arm and calibrate it .

    Thanks

But is your throttle trim tab as low as it can go? Also, you didn't somehow mess with the throttle sub-trim in the TX, did you? These can thwart arming. Lastly, check that ALL 3 motor wires are connected solidly (ESC to motor). It won't arm if one is loose or disconnected. This can happened easily during shipping.

Yep, trim is all the way down, wires connected . Even tried an entire new setup and still the same thing.

You should have moved the throttle from full to zero after the two beeps. By leaving the throttle at full into the "musical" notes you entered the programming phase for ALL the parameters of the ESC and when you moved the stick to zero all that did was cancel the programming and you were back to square one.
        Correct procedure:
        Turn Tx on
Move throttle to full (I personally have never needed to adjust trim from neutral except for Dynam 40A ESC)
Restrain aircraft (in case failsafe is defective)
        Plug in LiPo
After the two beeps move throttle to zero
ESC should now initialize with three beeps(3S batt) and the end tone
