I recently made and received my 1st order (batteries) from here. I received them in less than a week (I live in Toronto, Canada). I am still awaiting a battery order from Hobbyking 8 weeks Plus. The prices here are reasonable. I fly a Sonic 64 on 3 and 4 cell 2200's (admittedly the 4's are old and somewhat puffy) from HK. Today I installed the new 4 cell in it and had a exciting flight for about 30 sec. until the fan blades exploded. I'm not sure whether to brag or complain (lol) about the Motionrc batteries. I went on HK to order another set of blades but couldn't find any replacements. I then came here to complete a new order and found them on this site which I added to my order. I have told all my flying buddies about this site (I'm retired and fly with a bunch of old farts almost every day) and all have looked here and I have no doubts they will be doing business here as well. The prices are great and the shipping times as well. Do I receive cash or bonuses for this message? Just kidding.

Spread the word as Motion is continually beating its competitors in service, plane selections and pricing. When it comes to electric RC Motion RC is the gold standard. There is none better. These guys came up so fast in so short a time it is remarkable.

      Greetings,

      Welcome to the fold.......

Once you have experienced the MRC level of quality and support, there's no going back.
I believe, like the many of us have already discovered, there simply are no other companies that maintain the consistant level of real concern in their customers' before and after purchasing experience.

When you can find corporate quality equal to product quality, that's a Win - Win!!

As Baron said, "Spread the word". You'll never lose a friend from telling them about MRC.

Motion needs to get those us the "MotionRC" baseball caps and various colored T shirts. As fall approaches maybe we can get some long sleeve shirts as well. We will be the mobile billboards of advertising.

          Greetings Baron,
I believe we are echoing another post on this but, I agree totally that MRC would tend to benefit greatly by making various apparel available.

It seems that of the vast requests folks put forth trying to fulfill their wants this would be among the simplist to achieve.

I know Motion is busy reviewing orders and getting new shipments etc. but it should not be too difficult to find a manufacture to obtain these common items even if they just ordered 100, (or whatever is their best bulk value price) of each just to test the market.

Maybe you can order two shirts and cut them apart and sew those two halves together. <smiley image="smiley_happy.gif"/>

When I order parts 10 to 15 at a time, parts I don't even have a plane for I wined up putting them on something Motion never gets an order wrong

                    Greetings Guys,

                    Hats, shirts, hoodies, coozies....

How about a 2015 calendar showing MRC customer planes?

This sounds to me like someone's entrepreneurial opportunity!

I really like the calendar idea. Some in-air action shots of cool RC planes, maybe even a couple of versions like a WWII fighters calendar, one with modern jets, maybe one with civilian aircraft like Cubs, Aeronca's, etc. I would buy a couple for sure!

There is a lot of interesting ideas floating around here but will it fly? I guess the bottom lines of every business is will it pay off. I am pretty sure hats and T shirts would work if they are not overpriced but I am not sure about calendars. Perhaps calendars can be mailed to those costumers that exceeded a determined amount for the current year. That would nice if you got an email notifying you that you
qualify for a free calendar and you could choose between a WW1 /WW2 warbirds calendar, civilian aircraft or jets. That would be really nice.

All great ideas. Anyone want to volunteer to help us find a good supplier? <smiley image="smiley_thinking.gif"/>We definitely want to get some MRC gear on the website. We are working on it, albeit slowly. Thanks for the kinds words and positive praise.

Just a random wild thought Mark but maybe you could contact the AMA and see what company does their hats etc. They are good quality. I have bought items from AMA. If they would be too expensive you can try this company. http://www.e4hats.com/.
I have bought several caps from them and they are good quality. Maybe they can get customized hats for you, but not sure about that.

                              Greetings Gang, Mark

The calendar idea was just something to get as many folks involved in a like-minded project as possible. No offense to anyone, but I whole-heartedly do NOT think that someone's economic status (i.e., one persons capability to buy more planes than someone else) should be used as a consideration/determining factor not only for calendars, but for anything. It simply wouldn't be fair.

The calendars are like any other product, if someone wants one they'll buy it. If they don't, they won't.

I'd be very interested in purchasing a calendar(s) of your/our planes, and give them as gifts this holiday season to all my RC friends. Plus with MRC's logo plastered all over it, we're getting the word out about our hobby and our favorite vendor.

Interested candidates could submit a photo of 'their favorite' <i>plane</i> (singular) and proof (MRC customer database) it was purchased from MRC. We could even come up with six or twelve categories (perhaps six 'in air' and six static) and folks could submit one High-Resolution plane photo per category for consideration. The MRC staff would make the undisputed final selections. Perhaps the calendars could be a 'pre-order item so (being a dated thus perishable item) un-necessary quantities are not printed.

Maybe it's just me but I think it could be fun!!

Now, as far as hats and t-shirts. As a Teacher of Electronics and Aerospace Technologies, every year I have class t-shirts printed for my students to purchase and we use the funds for our class Christmas party. I don't know about other states (someone could check) but in Oklahoma our correctional facilities now have printing services that will do a logo or whatever on T-shirts and other items and it's relatively in-expensive. Of course, like any business quantity reduces price.

Again guys, these are just ideas. Brainstorming. We arn't obligated to do anything, obviously.

Getting a free calendar is a loyalty rewards program like most other businesses have in place. Visiting your grocery stores, various pharmacy outlets , credit cards companies etc. give you coupons, cash back discounts or whatever as a appreciation of your business including free shipping for those that can afford a 100 dollars or more. The more you buy, the more you get , it is the American way<smiley image="smiley_beam.gif"/>

Indeed. That is a valid point I had not considered. Thanks.
I certainly don't mind free stuff!!! A rewards system like maybe referrals to MRC.
If someone makes a firstime purchase and mentions he was referred by "Baron", Baron gets X points.
                                  X total points = Free .............

                                  Good Call.
