Ok fellow plane junkies I will be in the market for a Bi-plane over the next few weeks . Problem is I can't decide between the Roc hobby Waco or the Fms PT17 . I really like both planes . I know there is lots of info on both out there and have watched and read all I can find . I want honest pilot experience on the planes tho . Thanks

Re: Can't decide !!!!
Hey, sounds like we're parralleling eachother! I'm anxiously anticipating the arrival of My RocHobby Waco!
I was hoping it would be here for the weekend, but nothing!!!
Like waiting for Christmas!
Did I tell you that Diane is going to take the One Week To Solo course with me? I figure she could be flying instead of just watching and this course seems to be a great way to start. Especially as I Lawn Darted Pandora two this morning. Had to search for 20 minutes to find her!
We were extremely lucky that she isn't totally pranged. A bit of Gorrilla Glue, a new prop and she should be good to go by tomorrow.
I was trimming the ailerons when she got really attached to the ground. If nothing else it shows the toughness of these foam airplanes.Team Gross!

Re: Can't decide !!!!
Greetings H64, G56,
I feel like I'm talking in code.......
I wanted to chime in (I hope you won't mind) and offer that how much better (and more relaxing) our hobby is/can be when our loving wife's are on board. I remember the first time my wife ask to try my flight simulator and actually had fun!
Granted, it wasn't a "hey, let's take a one week to solo curse" together level of fun (you lucky, lucky man!) but, hey I'll take what I can get, right?
Now, as far as the Planes go, I can only speak in support of the WACO and on that I could only offer that I highly recommend it. It is an absolute superb flyer and of the Roc Hobby Waco, while a bit smaller then say the Dynam, you'll be amazed at how well it's engineered and fits together. The extra feature is that it flies with great versatility on 1600, 1800 and 2200mAh batteries.
It's a head turner on the ground and in the air.
I was also tossed between the two but chose the Waco and I really have never regretted that decision.
Clear Skies
