What plane or quad copter was filming the flight?

It is a VAS Spectre V3 which makes for a pretty good FPV platform. It's not very pretty or sexy until it gets in the air. In the air it flies and looks a lot like an A-10 Warthog. The thing tracks straight as an arrow...!

I have seen that particular plane on TV used to film archeological sites where getting there on foot was difficult/dangerous or if land was prohibited from entering. It was a very stable platform and valuable tool for the archeologist teams.

Thanks Bill! We need to practice more. LOL! My friend Shane has the hard part having to try to mimic my flight and get as close as possible without contact. I think flying in the daytime instead of the dark would help too. LOL! But the sunset light really looks neat!

Baron, all we need is the FAA to get off their duff and allow the industry to grow and we could be doing things like that too. :)

I think the FAA is going in the oppisite direction by trying to impose more restrictions on RC pilots. The AMA is trying to get the FAA to rescind some of their preposed regulations.

All the more reason to be sure everyone who flies is a member of the AMA! <smiley image="anim_rules.gif"/>
