Wow, incredible!!! I love the Eindecker. It was the P-51 of WWI. First plane with an interrupter on the machine gun. It had 2 gas tanks. A large one behind the pilot and a small one in front that gravity fed fuel to the rotary engine. The pilot had to hand pump fuel to the one in front. Right in the middle of a dog fight!!! Doc

That's Damon Atwood, "DAG" on RCG. This is not an Eindecker, he calls it the "Emmaselle" named after his daughter Emma. Look up Damon Atwood on Facebook, or DAG on RCG for details. He is also putting the final details on a scratch built C-130, which includes custom made props for a J model, scale landing gear, and a working cargo ramp. Absolutely stunning work. Damon is a master craftsman and builder.

The largest electric I've ever seen in person is a 12' WS B-36D that a friend of mine scratch built. I did all the wiring for him on the motors/ESCs (he hates soldering). The builder (Barrett) is in the middle, I'm on the right, and the maiden coach (Scott) is on the left.

Wow! How did that fly? It looks amazing. I have a 1/72 scale model of the B-36 hanging in my home office. Would love to climb through one of those.

Damon's C-130 is truly a work of art, as is the Emmaselle, and the B-36 that he did before the C-130. The B-36 (163" wingspan if memory serves) had severe wing flex issues, so it was never completed, and now hangs in a bar. The things he has been doing with his 3D printer are pretty incredible as well. I am currently working on an eleven foot long B-1B that will be all composite and foam, with 4 8S 90mm EDF units for power. IF I ever complete it, it will be truly massive. The largest I have seen in person though was at Joe Nall in 2016. The German guys had a 140" Edge 540 on 32S with a variable pitch, thrust vectored prop. It was astonishing.
