I recently broke one of the toggle switches on my radio. I went ahead and replaced all of them with some rock solid switches from an electronics store. Everything works great. But I was wondering, since the Tactic does not have adjustable knobs, is it possible to replace one of the 2 position switches with one of my many extra adjustable knobs in my parts box<smiley image="anim_confused.gif"/> Thanks

    Re: Tactic xxt650

    Greetings,

Typically, if the switch to be replaced is providing a digital signal input (0, +5v), then no, as the analog nature of the potentiometer would not provide satisfactory results and the 'pot' rotation would not be recognized until the digital threshold ~3.2V is met or exceeded.

I'm sure you are already aware, but if you're not locked into using the TTX650 for a particular plane, the TTX 600 does provide a true analog variable input from Ch. 6 (flaps) on the transmitter. I have used this many times to gain multiple flap positions over the standard 2-3 position switch.

There is however, bound to be someone here on the forum who may have developed a work-around for the TTX 650.
