has anyone had problems balancing their ww1 albatross to make it fly right?

If you are referring to the Dynam Albatross, I had to add several ounces to the nose of mine to get it to balance. It is a handful if you try to fly it tail heavy.

Thanks, Had to put 8oz. in to make it slightly nose down. Will see what happens.

It really needs the weight of a 4S 3000 mah which requires carving a little foam to fit. My 4S 3000 shoved all the way forward has it balanced correctly. A smaller battery (the ones that fit without carving foam) just won't balance it.
When adding weight, you might as well make it useful. Put in a bigger battery.

Not recommended for beginner pilots. The adverse yaw can have beginners get in trouble fast.

Note: The color scheme is one of those used by Richthofen. (The Red Baron) who actually flew more Albatross aircraft than Fokkers. He only flew Fokker Dr-1 (3 different ones with 3 different paint schemes) the last appx 3 to 4 months before he was shot down.

Yes, the pilot figure is comically out of scale.
