  • Throttle cable; two vs four stroke

I got a few used OS four strokes laying around still w enough life to run a few more gallons.

The problem I am having is the throttle on a four stroke is centered close to the firewall, almost hitting the tank outlet and fuel lines. The other issue is the servo throttle wire cannot reach the carb arm. On two strokes the carb metal/plastic arm is on the side, and its a straight shot along the side. Some minor bending and throttle is set on a two stroke.

Relocating the fuel tank is not an option as its a tight fit all around the front of the fuselage. As much as I try to reposition the throttle wire, its impossible because the fuel tank is on the way.

Without seeing your set up, this is my best guess: Have you considered using something like a bellcrank, mounting it in front so the servo wire can run down the side of the engine bay, and the throttle wire along side the engine?
How about a photo, so we can see what your are (literally) up against?;)
