Does anyone know why some folding props fold foreward, as well as backward? Do they only depend on centrifugal force to hold them out? It just doesn't seem right that they would fold foreward so far. Thanks, The Doctor

Hey Doc! Usually there is a prop stop of some kind built into the blade holder. I have an RV Jet that has a foldable pusher prop. The bracket that holds the props will not allow it to fold forward and I also have one of these so that it can't fold too far back as well.

Prop stop demo. The "prop stop" prevents a folding prop to fold in or out too far. This is needed for many RC wings that have the motor on the TE in a push...
