It was beastly hot but very little wind so a few of our little clan called 3 Sheets 2 The Wind got together to fly. Not much in the way of thermals unfortunately but it was fun. I still have a hard time trying to land this thing. I always go too long. This doesn't sink very much in level flight and it's not a slow flyer. I'll get it eventually.... And thanks again Todd for the Solius suggestion!

I've had my Solius for about a year now and it is the best motorized sailplane I have. 'Can't understand why you have trouble landing...just set up the spoilers (ailerons in up position) with some up elevator mixed in and it will sink, albeit a bit faster than a glide. You can also circle the plane to bleed off speed and altitude before setting up for a landing. I use both methods since I fly at a relatively small field.
