Glider 5-6 channel

I have 4 channel transmitter/receiver. Can I pin the flaps on the glider to make them non-operational and still use my 4 channel transmitter.
Thanks.

Of course you can. Just know that you’ll lose the benefits that flaps will give you - like slower speed and better precision on landings, the ability to use partial flaps for a more “floaty” sailplane.
