  • Freewing 9g size metal gear servos

I purchased 4 of the freewing 9g size metal gear servos. Purchased last November, didn't install in a glider until this week.

One servo moves and stops. You do not get full throw. You get maybe 50% movement. If you move the servo faster it may go full throw. Not every time. It's not fit to fly

All 4 servos move in steps rather than slowly.

I don't see how these would give me the performance and smoothness desired. Just beware of these servos and test thoroughly before installing. Test again thoroughly after installing. I'm removing and discarding all four servos and will replace them with another brand.

Researching these servos, after the fact. I see several issues from customers.

Did you buy analog servos when you should have bought digital ones? Did you buy digital ones when you should have bought analog ones? Is your TX/RX set up to operate one type or the other? Could it have been that the "issues" from customers were not that of the servo but perhaps an issue with the customer?

Did you swap a known good into the same exact output on the receiver and get good results? Where are you located? I'd buy those from you.
