I haven't flown it, but I've heard on grapevine here (China) that it flies well for a 70mm. It certainly looks really good, in my opinion. Hornets are finicky bees.

Good question. The new FMS F-18 intrigues me even though I still have the 90mm FW F-18. I prefer the smaller 70mm size or even the 80mm size and if Freewing announced that they have one coming, I'd wait. My preference has been FW for EDFs and FMS for prop warbirds but I must admit that the recent intros of FMS EDFs have been getting better and better. I know you have the FMS A-10 but after having one at one of my flying fields and seeing how it flew once and never again left me hesitant and I got the Freewing one instead. It's just a better product overall. There's also the FMS Avanti at my field and one of the new Hawks. Both fly well and both surprised me by their quality, although my FW Avanti S is (IMO) a better plane in many categories.

Following! I can’t wait to add a “F” to the hangar. Hopefully Callie graphics comes out with more squadron livery. I might have to just make my own for a FVA-41 bird!

As most of you know, all FMS products for North America now go through Horizon. Horizon knows nothing about this plane and does not even have a part number for it yet. We cannot order this yet which means it is months away from reaching the USA at best.

Pick your model carefully. If you fly off rough ground, the FMS gear might only last one flight.

thanks for the heads up! I've got a lot of reading to do. I'm considering doing the F-5 gear swap like some other flyers have done.

I totally agree FW makes the better planes especially the 80mm Avanti.. my fave :)... The terrain that guys fly off will ultimately dictate choice of A-10 & the 1 battery vs 2 battery debate.. I have no real complaints regarding the FMS A-10 especially after I changed the front struts to Trailing links for my Grass field.. It's a very solid performer .. I'm glad I don't have Gophers burrowing around my field but have Kangaroos creating havoc..LOL

HHNF, what trailing link did you put on the front gear of your FMS A-10? I would like to pick up the FMS A-10, but would have to put a trailing link on the front and secure the mains.
