Freewing T-45 parts fit the FLYFLY Hawk!!

Hi all

I've had a FLYFLY Hawk on the go for along time but never liked the gear that came with it .....fast forward to todays Freewing HAWK and I discovered that they are both close to the same scale so I took a chance and ordered the FW T-45 mains and an A4 Nose gear and to my delight they will work on the FLYFLY with a little tweeking!!

I am also fitting the FW canopy and intake rings.

an inrunner 80MM EDF unit..on back order at MRC... originally a 90mm fan unit

Canopy fitted. Much nicer frame work and sleeker top profile than the FlyFly version. I also added a new nose previously as the original made it look like a Dolphin :0 Yes lots of work... but I like building as much as flying and I used to be deep into plastic scale modeling ...so Kitbashing is in my Nature LOL

Just modified the exhaust to a more scale size...the scale looking exhaust ring is from the FW T-45 for comparison...gotta love 80mm fans in 90mm airframes!!
