  • freewing 64mm A-10

I have just completed my Freewing 64mm A10. With an Admiral 3000mah battery it weighs 1900grams. The manual states the flying weight to be about 1700. My only modification was the addition of flaps. Do I need to go with a smaller battery to reduce the wing loading?

I dont know the all up weight of mine. I have added flaps as well. I've been flying with admiral 3600's and CHL 4000's(441grams) and it does fine(4min flights) Nothing about it is floaty with these batteries though. Its power hungry so i wouldnt go much smaller mah. I've had to rebuild my nose gear a few times until i got the landings figured out. When i bounce a landing it wants to come back down on the nose gear. Its one you have to fly all the way down.
