It flew great, all the way until the esc burned out on the first lap... so phone call to tower in the morning ... luckily I was able to land uneventfully as well.

Oh man, I hate to hear things like this. I hope this plane don’t turn into a white elephant like it did for the 2 guys at my field.

You must be a good pilot. Nevertheless, give the gear a good pull to ensure there’s no slop in the mounting area.

Why did you go with the FMS and not the Freewing? The Freewing A-10 is a great plane.

Be sure and tell product support it was bad right out of the box. Things have changed on how warranty's are being handled and the bad right outta the box will cover that .

It is an awesome bird bro!! I have one and love it! You need not worry about weight tho. When I started flying mine I used a 6s 3c 6200mah pack and it flew light as a feather but long flight time. I have since settled on a 5000mah pack only because I used the 6200s for another bird. But the lighter 4500 may not go as you want. The plane likes the weight. At least that is how I feel about it.

Yeah it did fly well for me, with the weights I added I feel like it did really nice in the air. And flew pretty slow although it kinda had to with one motor dead. As for the plane I think its great

I did wrench on my landing gear very hard. The wing is gonna snap before the gear comes out. Its locked in tight. The nose gear is pretty much the same way and I didnt feel like breaking anything else at the moment

Rifleman scrap those ESCs. I had two fail on me. One from the box the second was the warranty replacement on a bench test. If you read the RCG thread you will find that others have had issues with the ESCs. Replaced mine with a brand that I have had success with and no problems since then. JMO scrap them I would not trust them. Good luck.

In the end I'm really probably going to end up doing that and ordering the setup for the freewing A10. So far those escs atleast the smaller ones in the P38 and tigercat have been rock solid. As mater of fact, I I still have one them from my first P38 still going strong in my large fx79 wing.
