LX SU-47 Concerns

So, I have a brand new LX SU-47 (PNP) still in the box. I haven't broken it out and put it together yet but I have learned through some research that many guys have had issues with the stock electronics and motors. I was thinking about replacing everything before I maiden it (thinking I should have just bought the KIT version now) :Thinking:

Does anyone have any experience with this jet? And if so, did you do any mods or change out any electronics/motors/servers, etc?

I don't have any personal experience with them but based on everything I have come across related to LX models on these forums everyone has pretty much recommended to stay away from them but if you must have one to just get a KIT version and install better more reliable components.
