  • FMS F-4 Phantom 70mm EDF thrust angle

Can anyone point me to a discussion of how to adjust the thrust angle downward on the FMS Phantom. I am seeing that this is recommended for hand launch at full throttle to prevent a back flip. Any other ideas?
    Thanks

I fly mine off the ground.  It will ROG very nicely but i find you have to hold a good bit of DOWN elevator until the speed builds once airborne.  without the down, the thust angle sends the nose skyward and it WILL stall out and fall.  I have seen discussion (on RCGroups i think) about cutting off the oulets, turn them 180 degrees and reattach them.  I've not bothered because once the jet is up to speed it flys great....only an issue and slow speed and high thrust....and some down elevator takes care of that :)

    Cheers
