  • Scorpion flap servo replaced now they turn diff directions?

Replaced one of my flap servos due to crash then when powered up the new one rotates reversed???
    Replaced with Freewing 9g.
Am I going nuts or what?

One needs to be a reverse servo or use a servo reverse wire on one. Therefore you need one reverse servo and one regular servo on the flaps. This will take care of the problem.

Doh, makes sense now, wish they had listed the rvs servo in the spare parts for the Scorp, I mite have picked up on this sooner.
      Thanks

This something taken for granted sometimes.   I had to learn the hard way like you did.  The reverse servo wires work okay.  I try to use a reverse servo when possible.  Good luck.

If you have a spare channel on your receiver, you could plug the opposing flap into that channel and then mix the two servos together in your radio to the same flap switch. Just reverse the opposing servo in your radio, and then both flaps will move in unison.
