I like the paint scheme a lot and they've made some good improvements. However, I'm thinking the new price is going to be its Achilles heel.

Haven’t seen the new price yet. I really like the new paint scheme. Classy.

It needs to be in a reasonable price range, but by judging their price from their 90mm series without too many bells and whistles, this upgraded 80mm could be expensive especially if a gyro receiver is added from the factory, etc. I'm not sure if any of that will occur, but it will be interesting to see the price point in enters the market at. It's a great color scheme and I'm glad to see some improvements as well.

Don't forget to deduct 20% for VAT before you do the conversion, So that becomes 355.00 Euros x 1.124 which is just under $400.00 use

Not including the new 25 percent tariff which may or may not affect this (and everything else)
                  ifference?
2100kv up from 2000kv. Is it a noticeable difference?

It should be priced like the Freewing Avanti. Same class.

I looked at one at Nall on Saturday, no Reflex system. They are also listed on Tower already with the same $329 price tag as the V1.

Tower Hobbies carries an expansive collection of RC cars, RC airplanes, RC boats, model trains, sot cars, and supplies for all hobbyists.

We'll be happy to sell you the old model for the same price as the much improved new one. Seems kind of strange:Thinking:

I'm sure it is only a matter of time before the V1 gets discounted.

I flew the V1 Futura quite a bit. While I've not yet flown the Futura V2, I would not put it in the same class with the Freewing Avanti. The Avanti is a significantly larger sport jet with much lower wing loading. The Avanti Wingspan is 7" larger than the Futura and the Avanti length is 5" longer than the Futrura. The Avanti is on the larger size of the 80mm category while the Futura is very small for an 80. Both are nearly identical in weight.
