P15 - landing gear?

P15 - anyone tried it on its landing gear? On grass or on Tarmac?

I've never even considered the optional gear. It's so easy to just throw it. I think you might be restricted to a smooth runway. Grass, unless it's like a golf green, will offer too much impediment to taking off. Those wheels are pretty small. But maybe someone has tried it and will respond.
