She is very nice out of the box. There really is no need to upgrade this "FOAMY". She is not a $2k ship but as a 6 cell sport jet there is little that can compete. As for performance I don't like the high blade count fans. But I do like their quieter sound.

RE: Cobra 90mm

The 90mm Cobra was available from HK, although I it has since been discontinued. On 8s it flew very nicely, and was a good size foam jet for the money. Like most sport jets it benefited from some reinforcement here and there. Hinges and retract mounts were the most important, especially because the struts had limited suspension travel and so most of the landing forces would be transmitted right up to the retract unit itself and the mounts.
