    70mm F16 belly lander.

Has anyone made their freewing F16 70Mm a belly lander.
I fly off of a grass field and my retracts always bend.
I made my eflite Thunderbird F16 a belly lander and
    it fly’s perfect. Much lighter.

Mine takes off on the wheels and then I belly land it. It's during landings that the gear take the most beating and like yours, they bend a bit and at the very least, the wheels rotate (toe out). I've cut down those fins at the back underside so they don't dig into the ground so much when touching down. It stops like you threw out an anchor when they're the original height.

That’s true, I even started hand tossing mine what a
nice feeling to get in the air with a toss. Takes practice but I got it down full throttle and up and out.
