I'll jump on the Mad Dog wagon.
The MD-82 or the later Boeing 717 would be a great airframe!
    Best regards,
    Cris B.

I whole heartedly agree. But I am biased since I fly the Md-88. The DC-9 is such a historical subject that would be easy to model. Please come out with a T-tail!

        Absolutely!
Thinking about it, the MD-90 might be a better subject since it has larger engines than the MD-80 series and would be easier to have 70mm edf's look more scale on the aircraft without the model having to be enormous to keep the engines scale looking.
I'm just going by what I'm seeing on my AL37 engines but she does have pretty big engine cowls- maybe the cowlings could be tightened up and still keep the scale look on an MD80, or even better, a 727-200!
An MD80 or 722 would be eight feet long and it would be awesome!
Takeoff speeds would be high before the elevators had enough control authority to rotate the aircraft given the length of the fuselage and weight forward of the cg.
